To verify your Singapore bank account for use with StraitsX, you must upload a valid bank statement that matches your account information. This verification is required to enable transfers out of your StraitsX account. Please note that only bank accounts registered under your legal name can be linked and verified.
Document requirements: Bank statement
If you decide to verify the bank account by uploading a bank statement, submit a bank statement issued within the last 3 months that clearly shows:
- Name
- Address
- Bank Account Number
- Bank Logo
- Date of Issuance (within 3 months from date of submission)
- Header and Footer (top and bottom portions of the statement)
Notes:
- You may hide your transaction history or balance, but do not crop the document.
- You still need to upload your bank statement even if you submitted a statement as your Proof of Address. Identity verification and bank account verification are two different processes.
What if I don’t receive bank statements?
If your bank does not issue regular statements, you may submit alternative documents such as a passbook or account opening letter.

Name Mismatch Policy
You can only link and verify a bank account under your name. Please ensure that you link a bank account under your own legal name.
- Your bank account name should be the same as your registered StraitsX account name.
- Your bank account will not be verified if your bank account name does not match your registered StraitsX account name.
If your bank account verification failed, you will receive a notification email. If you believe that this is a mistake, please reply to the email and send us your bank statement or the first page of your bank savings book.
