How to setup Google Authenticator

Step 1: Download Google Authenticator

• For Android user: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.android.apps.authenticator2&hl=en&gl=US

Step 2: Set up Google Authenticator

On Google Authenticator, select "Enter a setup key"

Then you will see the page below on Google Authenticator.

Go back to the setup page on StraitsX and copy the setup key to Google Authenticator.

On StraitsX Mobile Authenticator page, copy the setup key.

Go to Google Authenticator. Paste the setup key to the key field.

For account field: input "straitsx".

Check "Add" button.

Copy the One-time code on Google Authenticator and paste it to StraitsX.

PS: the one-time code is time-sensitive. It will change every minute, you need to paste the one-time code to StraitX before its updates.

Step 3: Get a One-time code from Google Authenticator and paste it to StraitsX.

Go back to the setup page on StraitsX and paste the number that you get to "One-time code".

Step 4: (Optional) Input Device Name.

• Input the name of your device that install Google Authenticator (eg: Jenny's iPhone X)
• Then click "Submit" to go next step
