Due to the real-time and immutable nature of digital asset conversions, StraitsX Swap transactions are generally irreversible and cannot be canceled once confirmed.
During the swap process, after you click "Preview Swap," you will encounter a "Confirmation" screen (like the one shown below). This screen provides a crucial summary of your intended swap, including the amounts, the current conversion rate, and confirmation of "No fee". It also displays a countdown timer indicating the rate's validity.
This "Confirmation" screen is your final opportunity to review all these details carefully and click the "Cancel" button if you wish to stop the transaction. Once you click "Swap Now" on this screen and the transaction is successfully processed, the digital assets are immediately exchanged at the prevailing market rate, and the conversion is final.
What to Do if You Made a Mistake After Confirmation:
- While a confirmed swap cannot be reversed, if you made an error (e.g., accidentally swapped the wrong amount or asset), the only potential recourse would be to perform a new swap in the opposite direction (e.g., if you accidentally swapped XSGD to USDC, you would then swap USDC back to XSGD).
- Please note: Performing a new swap will be subject to current exchange rates and may incur market spread, potentially resulting in a different amount than originally intended.
- If you have any significant concerns or believe a technical error occurred on the platform, please contact our Customer Support Team immediately with full details of your transaction.
