StraitsX does not onboard customers engaged in prohibited industries or sectors, including but not limited to those listed below. We reserve the right to reject, suspend, or terminate services if your business is found to be involved in these or any other prohibited sectors as determined by our internal policies.:

Category	Description and Examples
Illegal or sanctioned activities	Any business that operates in violation of local or international laws. This includes activities in countries subject to trade embargoes or businesses involving persons on restricted party lists (e.g., OFAC). Examples: Human trafficking, unlicensed financial services, or trade with sanctioned nations.
Adult entertainment and related services	Services or products that are sexually explicit or intended for adult audiences. This includes both physical products and digital content. Examples: Pornography and other obscene materials (including literature, imagery and other media), escort services, adult live chat services, pay-per-view, sexually oriented toys or products, and explicit dating websites.
Arms, weapons, and defense-related activities	The sale, distribution, or manufacturing of items designed to cause physical harm or intended for military/combat use. Examples: Firearms, ammunition, explosives, tactical knives, weapon blueprints (3D printing files), and military-grade defense hardware.
Marijuana	Any business involved in the cultivation, processing, or sale of cannabis, regardless of local legality or medicinal status. Examples: Marijuana dispensaries, delivery services, and businesses selling THC-infused products or seeds.
Mining and Extraction	Industries focused on the removal of raw minerals or resources from the earth, which often involve high environmental impact or complex regulatory oversight. Examples: Coal mining, oil and gas extraction, "blood diamonds" or conflict minerals, and unregulated precious metal mining.
Tobacco	The sale of tobacco products or nicotine-delivery systems, including those marketed as alternatives to traditional smoking. Examples: Cigarettes, cigars, chewing tobacco, e-cigarettes, vapes, and flavored e-liquids.
