Making a Transfer In Request
1. Sign in to your account and select the “Transfer In” tab.
2. Select “XUSD” > “Bank Transfer”.
3. Click on the “Transfer In” button to generate the instructions.
4. If this is your first time, you’ll be required to generate your unique USD receiving account (also known as a Virtual Account or VA number).
We aim to generate this within 2 working days, but it may take up to 14 days, and actual processing times may vary depending on external circumstances.
5. Once your VA is ready, repeat steps 1–3 to view your transfer instructions. Take note of the recipient's name, bank account number, bank name, SWIFT/BIC, and bank address.
6. Make a wire transfer via the SWIFT network from your bank’s mobile app or website.
- Banks from Singapore and the rest of the world will be accepted for making a USD transfer in.
- Transfers must be made from a first-party bank; bank account under your own name (same name as your StraitsX account).
- Transactions from Non-Bank Financial Institutions (NBFI), also known as third parties, such as Wise, GrabPay, Razer, LiquidPay, Matchmove, Singtel Dash, etc., are not acceptable. If transfers in from third parties are made (including from business accounts), a refund will be issued, and charges may apply.
7. Once completed, your funds will be credited to your account within 2-5 working days. Your balance will automatically be reflected in XUSD.
What to do if the transaction is Pending?
If your transfer shows as pending or blocked on your transaction overview, here’s what you can do:
- Double-check that the transfer was made from your own bank account (same name as your StraitsX account).
- Ensure you used the exact details provided in the transfer instructions.
If everything seems in order but your funds have not arrived after 5 working days, please contact our Customer Support Team by filling out and submitting this form.
